Well I'm here, finally. But only for a little bit, I have work again today from 12-9. I have closed shop every day I have worked this week, and do it again on Friday. I really don't mind closing. Its interesting to talk to people when they come in. We had one guy yesterday who told me all about his fishing trips. And I re-steamed some crab legs for one lady. Had never done that before, but I think they turned out fine. Vic comes back to work tomorrow- I guess, if he feels better. So next week I will have about 10 hours less than this week. That will give me some time to study- I have neglected that somewhat this past week.
But work has been good for me. Having some time for myself is a wonderful thing. I'm by myself from about 4 till 9 when I get finished. Yesterday I had so much to do that I didn't get everything finished, but I did get everything stocked up for todays shift- which is more important than what I didn't get finished. What I left undone could wait till today- the other things couldn't. It's all about priorities, and being essentially my own boss for most of the day (which I LOVE) I can sort out the things that need doing now and what can wait.
Kids are good, Trystan's teacher has decided to grade his spelling a little differently so he will make better grades, she wants to isolate his problem and help him fix it- thank goodness for pro-active teachers! I can tell her what his problem is, his speech. He spells things like he says them. And not that they are really off or anything, but it does make for some mistakes. Hopefully she can help him. Donavon is doing great, he is helping the teacher really well with the children that are new to Kindergarten this year. And Jaydon is back in preschool, they got a new bus driver so they pick him up everyday. He wore his scooby doo rain coat this morning, he was excited about that.
Kevin is doing well lately. Which in itself is a great thing, so lets hope that continues.
